The company Doosan Infracore Co., a leading Korean manufacturer of construction machinery and equipment, announced that it would lead the project to develop the new generation excavators having minimal negative environmental impact.

The company ORBCOMM Inc., specializing in providing services on transmitting global satellite data (primarily on a bilateral basis “from machine to machine” - M2M), and the company MobileNet Inc., provider of software and hardware for integrated facilities of data processing and transmitting (telematic systems) that are used at heavy industrial and transport equipment, announced that Doosan Infracore America (DIA) had selected the TrakPak software product of the company MobileNet as the basic one for use in the GPS. This decision will be a standard option on new Doosan excavators, DX Series, and new wheel loaders, DL series.

The TrakPak package is designed for on-board technical monitoring and communication systems; it enables the owners of the construction equipment to improve the efficiency both of a single machine and their whole fleet by getting a remote access to all data on the operation of the equipment.
